The paintings in these three series grow from a fascination with the way forms, patterns, and ideas come together. I enjoy setting up a process or a set of rules and then seeing where it takes me. Sometimes I build patterns from repeated prints, sometimes I work with interwoven forms, and sometimes I divide the surface into separate areas and give each one its own visual language. I’m excited by the moments when something unexpected happens within that structure and leads me somewhere I hadn't planned to go. Across these series, I’m always looking for that balance between intention and discovery.
